Our Before and After School Service
”Lily’s” enables working parents and guardians to avail of high quality and affordable childcare. Lily’s is an all year round service for primary school children in the local area. This enables Lily’s to provide the highest standard of childcare for working parents and guardians during school terms, midterm breaks, Easter holidays and summer holidays.
Our Story
Established by working Dad’s Eoin Doyle and Daniel Ventre alongside our manager Jennifer Hedderman.” Lily’s” is committed to supporting working parents and guardians with high quality and affordable childcare. Eoin & Daniel are both ex-professional footballers who first met while playing for Sligo Rovers FC. Jennifer, is a Mum of three with over 15 years’ experience in childcare. They have come together to provide an all year round Before & After School service to support working parents and guardians and promote an environment of health and wellbeing for the children. The children are encouraged to participate in a wide range of play opportunities including; Sports, Outdoor Play, Construction with Lego, Arts & and Crafts, Football, Hip Hop Dancing, Junior Yoga and Exercise through Play. Healthy Meals are provided each day and served to the children in all our locations. Any special dietary needs will be catered for.
Staff & Training
At Lily’s Childcare, we are deeply committed to the continuous professional development of our staff, recognizing that their growth directly translates to better care and education for the children. To this end, we provide robust support for enhancing the qualifications and expertise of our team.
Commitment to Advanced Qualifications: We offer financial assistance for our staff to enrol in QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) Level 5 and Level 6 Certificate courses in Early Learning and Care. These courses are pivotal in deepening their understanding of child development, early education techniques, and best practices in childcare.
Focus on Continued Education: Our approach to staff development goes beyond initial training. We highly value and actively encourage our childcare professionals to seek ongoing education and training opportunities. This continuous learning ensures our team stays abreast of the latest developments and innovations in early childhood education.
Safety Training: In addition to educational qualifications, we also prioritise the safety of the children in our care. We cover the costs for our staff to attend First Aid courses. This training is essential, equipping our team with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively to any health emergencies that may arise.
