Role Overview
Reporting to Lily's Area Manager. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a QQI Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent) and will support the daily operations of our ECCE and School Age Childcare programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the classroom
- Assist in planning and implementing a curriculum in line with Aistear and Síolta
- Provide high-quality care and education, ensuring children's safety and well-being
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Observe and document children's progress in line with Tusla requirements
- Previous experience in a childcare setting, ideally an ECCE environment
- Strong understanding of child development and early years education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm, caring and patient approach to working with children
- Garda Vetting required prior to commencement
Remuneration
Childcare Assistant — QQI ELC Level 6 Qualified: €14.65 per hour. Christmas Bonus.
