Yes. Lily's is Tusla registered and our first location in The Park Community Centre, Ballycullen was officially opened by the Minister for Children & Youth Affairs in October 2019.

Are Lily's staff members qualified childcare professionals?

Yes. All Lily's staff are qualified childcare professionals, exceeding Tusla requirements. Staff continuously update their education and training, including Health and Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety, Anti-Racism / Diversity and Restorative Practice.

What local schools do Lily's service?

St. Colmcille's Knocklyon, Gaelscoil Chnoc Liamhna, Firhouse Educate Together, Gaelscoil na Giúise, Holy Rosary Ballycullen, Scoil Carmel Firhouse, Scoil Treasa Firhouse, Scoil Naomh Pádraig Ballyroan, Ballyroan Boys and Rathfarnham Parish.

Can my child get a hot healthy dinner in Lily's?

Yes. Hot healthy dinners are served each evening to your child. Breakfast is served in the morning. During school holidays, snacks are served throughout the day.

No. Our fees are based on 12 months of equal payments including school holidays.

Do Lily's provide part time options for my child?

Lily's provide limited part time places (minimum of three days care). Contact our Manager to discuss availability.

What measures are in place to keep my child safe?

The safety of your child is of paramount importance. All staff and Health and Wellbeing instructors are Garda checked. We use the Child Paths App to keep you in touch with your child's activities throughout the day.

Do Lily's guarantee my child's homework will be done?

Yes. Staff members supervise and assist with your child's homework on schooldays.

Can Lily's mind my child during school holidays?

Lily's are open Monday to Friday on school holidays. We are closed on public holidays, Good Friday and from December 24th to January 2nd.

What is the walking school bus?

A healthy, environmentally conscious, safe and fun way to walk to and from school along a set route. Staff and children all wear a reflective bib. Children can chat to their friends, learn road safety skills and gain independence.

What activities will my child do in Lily's?

Along with playtime, qualified tutors deliver Sports Fun, Hip Hop Dancing, Art and Football. Your child will also have outdoor activities in the park and playgrounds.

Do Lily's cater for babies or toddlers?

No. Your child must be attending Primary School.

Do Lily's allow my child access to technology?

Accepted Answer

No. Lily's is a technology-free zone. No phones, tablets etc are allowed for the children.
